Qualitative and quantitative composition:
Orofar Orofar pearls and pearls with mint: benzoxoniumchloride 1 mg.
Orofar spray: benzoxoniumchloride 2 mg / ml. A spray of 0.14 ml corresponds to 0.28 mg of active substance.

Posology and method of administration:
Orofar Orofar pearls and pearls with mint.

Acute infections: 1 capsule every 1 to 2 hours.

Orofar pearls should be given to children from 4 years. However, the dose should be reduced slightly so that no more than 6 capsules per day are administered.

Pregnancy and lactation:
No teratogenic effects or other adverse effects on the embryo or fetus were observed in animal studies with benzoxoniumchloride. During pregnancy and lactation Orofar would nevertheless be used with caution and only when absolutely necessary.
It has occasionally mentioned cases of transient mild local irritation.
Isolated cases of skin rash or angioneurotic edema were reported.
In this case, stop the treatment.
Effects on ability to drive and use machines:
Accidental ingestion of a large quantity of the product, eg a full box of capsules or the contents of a full aerosol can, as with other quaternary ammonia is the case, nausea and vomiting.
Concomitant use of alcohol may increase absorption of the quaternary ammonium.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction:
In case of overdose, concomitant use of alcohol absorption of the quaternary ammonium increased.
