Lemocin is proposed as symptomatic treatment of painful and inflammatory diseases of the mouth and pharynx.
Qualitative and quantitative composition:
The active substances are tyrothricine (4 mg), cetrimide (2 mg) and lidocaine (1 mg).

Posology and method of administration:
The lozenges slowly melt in the mouth without chewing.
And Adults children over 6 years: - in acute and severe infections: 1 lozenge every 1 to 2 hours, - in less severe infections: 1 lozenge every 2 to 3 hours.
Maximum daily dose: not more than 8 lozenges.
Duration of treatment: with a throat infection or sore throat, accompanied by high fever, headache, nausea or vomiting for no longer than 2 days without medical advice.
Note: Lemocin sweetened with saccharin and sorbitol.
It contains no sucrose and may be used by diabetics.

Special warnings and precautions for use:

The medicine is a kortdurig intends it for use (5 ; to 7 days). If symptoms persist, or if they are accompanied by high fever, dizziness or vomiting, the drug should be used under medical supervision.

Pregnancy and lactation:
Lidocaine goes through the placental barrier, but no harmful effect was observed in the fetus. Nevertheless, there are no clinical data on the use of Lemocin during pregnancy, and the testing data are limited. It is better Lemocin during pregnancy only to be used in cases of absolute emergency.
Lidocaine is excreted in breast milk. But the concentrations are so low that the product can be used without problem during lactation.
A frequent, continuous and prolonged use of Lemocin can, in rare cases, lead to local irritation. Hypersensitivity reactions are rare. They can express themselves through a skin reaction or angioneurotic edema. Nausea may occur at very high doses or when the medicine on an empty stomach is used (this because of the presence of lidocaine).
Effects the ability to drive and use machines:
To date, no intoxication with Lemocin reported.
In case of accidental overdose, or overdose due to an injury of the bucco-pharyngeal mucosa, may be nausea, vomiting, central nervous system disorders (nervousness, convulsions) due to lidocaine, expect.

Interaction with other medicinal products and other forms of interaction:
To date, no interaction between Lemocin and other substances reported. The concomitant use of surfactants (eg toothpaste), the effect of reducing cetrimidebromure.
