Qualitative and quantitative composition:
Otrivine Rhinitis Moisturizing Formula 1 °% solution.
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 1 mg per ml (equivalent to 0.87 mg / ml xylometazoline).

Posology and method of administration:
Otrivine Anti-Rhinitis Moisturizing Formula ° 1% nasal drops for adults and children over 6 years: 3 to 4 times per day, 2 to 3 drops in each nostril.

The concurrent use of Anti-Otrivine Rhinitis Moisturizing Formula and MAO inhibitors may cause hypertensive crises. The same risk exists if Otrivine Anti-Rhinitis Moisturizing Formula is given less than 14 days after using an MAO inhibitor.
Potentialisering One of the alpha-adrenergic stimulation is possible combination of Anti-Otrivine Rhinitis Hydrating Formula with other products containing sympathomimetic amines, and with beta-blockers and especially those without ß1-selectivity.
As with all sympathomimetic concomitant use of xylometazoline and tricyclic or tetracyclic antidepressants increase the systemic effects of xylometazoline overdose in particular.
