Therapeutic Indications:

Hexomedine solution.

The present antiseptics are not sterilizing, they temporarily reduce the number micro-organisms.
These forms serve as an aid in the initial treatment of skin diseases caused by bacteria or of potential dermatological surinfecties.
It can serve as an antiseptic on skin and mucosa. It is this used in surgery and traumatology, in the gynécologie and stomatology.
Since the solution is not working fast enough, is not suitable for disinfection before a puncture or before an injection.
Hexomedine transcutaan.

As an aid in the initial treatment of skin diseases caused by bacteria or of potential dermatological surinfecties staphylococci-like folliculitis and perionyxis by pus-forming cocci.
Hexomedine collutorium.

Symptomatic treatment of painful diseases of the mouth, throat and especially as an aid in the treatment of pharyngitis, mouth ulcers and in the treatment of surgery on the tonsils.

Qualitative and quantitative composition:


Hexomedine solution.

Hexamidini di-isoaethionas 100 mg - Alcohol isopropylicus - Aqua qs purificata ad 100 ml.
Hexomedine collutorium.

Hexamidini di-isoaethionas 100 mg - 50 mg Tetracaïni hydrochloridum - Acidum aceticum - Sodium acetas - Glycerinum - Aethanolum - Menthae piperitae aetheroleum - Saccharum - Aqua qs purificata ad 100 g.
Hexomedine transcutaan.

Hexamidini di-isoaethionas 150 mg - Propylenglycolum - Dimethoxymethane. crudum - Alcohol isopropylicus - poly ethyl glycol ether. - Aqua purificata q.s. ad 100 ml.

Posology and method of administration:


Hexomedine solution.

Contraindications:

Side effects:


To date there have been no reports of systemic side effects in humans.
Skin.

Overdose:


To date no cases of overdose reported.
In the event that excessive doses used, its systemic effects of the antiseptic or anesthetic (for collutorium) can not (see also 'special precautions').
Hexomedine and transcutaan solution containing isopropanol.
