The Veroval® family is an electronic fever thermometer that uses infrared technology to self-measure human body temperature. The device measures body temperature on the forehead and in the ear with a measuring range of 34°C to 43°C. It also features an object mode with a measuring range of 0°C to 100°C. A removable forehead cap is used for forehead measurements. The measurement sensor includes an infrared sensor and a tactile sensor to automatically detect whether the forehead cap is attached.
- Battery capacity: approx. 1,000 measurements
- The Veroval® series has an age group selection function, with three age groups (0-3 months, 3-36 months, and 36+ months). Depending on the selected age group and the measurement result, the device issues a fever warning.
