This cream can be used externally in addition to the (internal) treatment with the soft capsule or tablet of Canestene Gyn 500mg for relief of itching of the external female or male genitals.
Genital yeast infection: balanitis candidiasis
Canestene Intim 1% can be used for effective treatment of balanitis candidiasis/genital fungus, a fungal infection that occurs in men.
Canestene Intim 1% cream kills skin fungus and thus relieves the itching and burning sensation.

Apply to the affected area of the skin 2-3 times a day and let it penetrate the skin by lightly rubbing. A small amount of cream is in most cases sufficient to treat an area the size of about one palm.
The active substance is clotrimazole 10 mg.
The other ingredients are: Sorbitan Monostearate – Polysorbate 60 – Cetyl palmitate – Cetylstearyl alcohol – 2-Octyldodecanol – Benzyl alcohol – Purified water sufficient for 1 g of cream.
Canesten Intim 1% Cream must not be used,
• If you are allergic to clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients of this medicine listed in section 6.
