Adults and children over 6 years:
Chronic idiopathic urticaria
- 1 tablet per day.
- Dose adjustment is indicated in patients with renal insufficiency or renal and hepatic impairment.
Method of administration:
- The tablet should be swallowed as such with liquid.
- During or without meals.

What Levocetirizine Sandoz contains: The active ingredient is levocetirizine. Each tablet contains 5 mg levocetirizine dihydrochloride. The other ingredients are microcrystalline cellulose, lactose (as monohydrate), magnesium stearate, hypromellose (E 464), titanium dioxide (E 171), and macrogol 400.
Levocetirizine Sandoz must not be taken,
– if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to levocetirizine, cetirizine, hydroxyzine or any related active substance or to any of the other ingredients of Levocetirizine dihydrochloride 5 mg (see section 6 “What Levocetirizine Sandoz contains”).
– if you have a serious kidney disease and need dialysis.
